SWOT Analysis of Hydraulic Oil Press

Nowadays, a new kind of hydraulic press machine is popular with customers in the market, which has completely changed the traditional oil press method. Next, we would carry out a SWOT analysis of the hydraulic press industry so as to offer some information for your reference.
SWOT analysis
Strengths
NO.1: High Efficiency. It has the ability to press various oil plants, 6 to 8 minutes is enough from the entrance of oil plants to the end of the processing. So the consumers are able to see all the procession. That is, the efficiency improves a lot.
NO.2:Simple Structure and Multi-usage. The machine can be used to press 30 kinds of oil crops such as peanuts, flax, sesame, rapeseed, sunflower, cottonseed, soybean etc. Also, the rest oil cake after pressed is of good quality. The nutrition won’t loss in the secondary processing
NO.3: Low Energy Consumption. The hydraulic press machine is energy-saving. There is no need for a lot of space and human resources. And the operation is easier and faster.
Weakness
NO.1: Limited Scope of Application. The hydraulic press machine has lower oil yield compared with the screw oil press, as is in the same case with production. What’s more, the machine is only suitable for household production. The limited scope of application accounts for the reason of Small-scale production.
NO.2: The hydraulic press machine must be operated by special person, also there must be person when the mainframe is in the process of boosting. So you must have the operator who has the relevant expertise.
Opportunity
NO.1: Large Scope of Market. It can boot to oil regardless of weather conditions and differences. So the machine can be used in various regions, this expands the scope of the market.
NO.2:Market Potential. The hydraulic oil press is suitable for processing scattered oil, which meets the needs of urban individual processing households. In addition, the pressed oil is edible without filtration, which ensures it very suitable for the individual processing households and home sales, so the market potential is huge.
NO.3: Wide Range of Engine Power Choice. The machine can be driven by three-phase electric power as well as household power, that is industrial and civil voltage from 200 to 380. So that it can be promoted and sold in most areas of the world.
Threat
The screw press has already occupied certain market share, as with the newly emerging press. The hydraulic oil press is still under threat though there is some certain market.
Amisy specializes in the production and sale of various oil presses, and we are here to provide you with the products and services needed at any time. Welcome to make choice of purchase.

Palm Kernel Oil Extraction

Nowadays, there are about 20 countries in the world producing palm oil. And the main producing countries are Malaysia, Indonesia, and Nigeria. The output of these three countries accounts for 88% of the world's total palm oil production. And since 2004, the total amount of palm oil and palm kernel oil has been more than soybean oil, the world's major edible oil. for the first time. While there exists great difference between palm oil and palm kernel oil. Here we would talk about the palm kernel oil extraction
Mechanical extraction
Mechanical extraction processes are suitable for both small and large capacity operations. The three basic steps in these processes are (a) kernel pre-treatment, (b) screw-pressing, and (c) oil clarification.

Line (A) is for direct screw-pressing without kernel pre-treatment;
Line (B) is for partial kernel pre-treatment followed by screw-pressing;
Line C is for complete pre-treatment followed by screw-pressing.
Kernel pre-treatment
Proper kernel pre-treatment is necessary to efficiently extract the oil from the kernels. The feed kernels must firstly be cleaned of foreign materials that may cause damage to the screw  oil press, Magnetic separators commonly are installed to remove metal debris, while vibrating screens are used to sieve sand, stones or other undesirable materials.

A swinging hammer grinder, breaker rolls or a combination of both then break the kernels into small fragments. This process increases the surface area of the kernels, thus facilitating flaking. The kernel fragments subsequently are subjected to flaking in a roller mill, revolving at 200-300 rpm. The thickness of kernel cakes is progressively reduced as it travels from the top roller to the bottom. The flakes that leave the bottom nip are from 0.25 to 0.4 mm thick.

The kernel flakes are then conveyed to a stack cooker for steam conditioning, the purpose of which is to:adjust the moisture content of the meal to an optimum level, rupture cell walls (initiated by rolling), reduce viscosity of oil, coagulate the protein in the meal to separate the oil from protein materials.
The important factors are temperature, retention time and moisture content. In the palm kernel, the meals are normally cooked to a moisture content of 3 percent at 104-110°C.

Canola Oil Production

Canola oil is a key ingredient in many foods. Its reputation as a healthy oil has created high demand in markets around the world, and overall it is the third most widely consumed vegetable oil in the world.
Rapeseed was once considered a specialty crop in Canada, but canola now has become a major American cash crop, and rapeseed is the highest-producing oil-seed crop in the USA. Canada and the United States produce between 7 and 10 million tonnes of canola seed per year. Annual Canadian exports total 3 to 4 million tonnes of the seeds, 800 thousand tonnes of canola oil and 1 million tonnes of canola meal. The major customers of canola seed are Japan, Mexico, China, and Pakistan, while the bulk of canola oil and meal goes to the United States, with smaller amounts shipped to Mexico, China, and Europe. World production of rapeseed oil in the 2002–2003 season was about 14 million metric tons. In the 2010–2011 season, world production is estimated to be at 58.4 million tonnes. The United States is a net consumer of canola oil, having used 3 billion pounds in 2010, 2.5 billion of which was imported from Canada.
The Canola Oil Extraction
Step 1: Roll the seeds with a sheller to rupture cells and make the seeds easier to be extracted.
Step 2: Heat the seeds slightly and feed them to the oil press machine for the first process which removes some of the oil and compresses the seeds into canola meal.
Step 3: Canola meal undergoes further processing to remove the remaining oil content. The oil content in the rapeseed ranges from 37.5% to 46.3%. So this step can’t be neglected.
Step 4: Combine the oil extracted during each step , and then subject them to processing according to the end product requirements. Different treatments are used to process salad oils, margarines, and shortenings.
Canola Oil Nutrition
Canola oil is low in saturated fat and contains both omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids in a ratio of 2:1. If consumed, it also reduces low-density lipoprotein and overall cholesterol levels, and as a significant source of the essential, omega-3 fatty acid is associated with reduced all-cause and cardiovascular mortality. It is recognized by many health professional organizations including the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and American Heart Association. Canola oil has been given a qualitied health claim from the United States Food and Drug Administration due to its high levels of cholesterol-lowering fats.

Why the Prices of Oil Press is Same, But the Capacity is Different

If you plan to have an oil plant, you must know much of information about oil press. Maybe you have a problem about the relation between price and capacity. Now I will explain this question for you.
Why the prices of screw oil press is similar, but the capacity is very different? The price is equal, but there are 3 T/D and 6T/D, and even more large capacity, why?
The first reason, the material quality is different, will cause the price difference, that’s true. So, if the price is similar, but the capacity is different, may be the material quality of large capacity oil expeller is not very good.
There are automatic screw oil press and traditional screw oil mill in the market. Compare automatic screw oil press and traditional screw oil expeller, the feature of automatic screw oil press is high degree of mechanization and automation, labor-saving, high working efficiency, and also the price is higher than traditional screw oil mill.
Maybe there is other reason, in order to cater to the psychology of users, some manufacturers and dealers make a false report about capacity and performance. The truth is the capacity of oil press which press distance (the distance from feed to outlet) within 50 cm is not more than 400 kg/h, within 55 cm is not more than 500 kg/h.
