How to Choose and Purchase Screw Oil Press

Why these motor powers of many screw oil press are different, even if the capacity is same, the powers are also different? The motor power is greater, the capacity is higher, and the machine is better, is it right? Screw oil press is driven by the motor. The motor is the important part in the screw oil press equipment. Many friends have a misunderstanding to the power in the purchase, thought that the power is larger, the machine is better. In fact, it’s not. In fact, improve motor power as the high yield and capacity basis is not reliable. Motor power has a great influence on the long-term production of machine and the machine life. 
Summarized the reasons as the following elements: 

1. Increase press oil production cost, and the power consumption was improved.

2. Just improving motor power destroyed the machine's overall speed ratio. Motor power was increased, reducer speed ratio was unchanged, it will cause reducer runs non-normally and high-load for long-term, resulting in shortening the life of reducer, high failure rate, and impact production. Even if the reducer increase as the speed ratio, but the pressing chamber and pressing screw do not increase size, also lead the pressing screw speed is too fast. Oil crops were not squeezed fully in the pressing chamber, and flow out from the outlet with oil, thus reduce the oil yield.

3. Blindly increasing the power, in the processing, if there was foreign matter and hard objects in the oil, the oil press machine can not stop automatically, then the machine will force to press the foreign matter. It is easy to damage the oil equipment; and cause rupture of pressing screw and pressing chamber, and protection function of the oil press machine itself will doesn't work.

In the above condition, when the machine is working, the machine is not running stably. So the oil press machine often breaks up, such as, the spare parts was damaged, it is difficult to produce stably and highly for a long time.

The Features and Nutritive Value of Common Oil Crops

1. Rape seeds. Rapeseed is only one high oil crop which can be cultivated all over the word. Rapeseed oil is generally dark yellow or brown. Rapeseed oil contains 0.4-1.0% arachidic acid, 14-19% oleic acid, 12-24% linoleic acid, 31-55% erucic acid, 1-10% linolenic acid. On the aspect of nutritive value, the human body absorption rate can be as high as 99% to rapeseed oil digestion, and has cholagogic function.
2. Soy bean. Soybean protein is the important component part of high quality soybean oil. Soybean contains 15% - 26% oil and 35% - 45% protein. The soybean oil has become the most important essential oil in the word. The main production countries of soybean are the United States, Brazil, Argentina, China, India, etc. Soybean is one of the main sources of cooking oil and vegetable protein (food and feed). Soybean oil contains up to 65% unsaturated fatty acids, including 52.1% linoleic acid and 2% to 10% linolenic acid. So soybean oil has quite a very high nutritional value, but it is lack of stability.
3. Cotton seeds. The whole cotton seeds contain 17%-26% oil, and seeds kernel contains about 40% oil. Cotton seeds oil contains 16%-23% saturated fatty acid. The main fatty acid of cotton seeds oil is composed of 22% palmitic acid, 18% oleic acid, 56% linoleic acid.
4. Sunflower seeds.Sunflower seed is native to Mexico, there are edible sunflower and multiple cropping oil sunflower, according to it’s purpose. About the common sunflower kernels, oily 29% - 30%, including 30 to 40% shell, 40% to 65% kernel oil. About multiple cropping oil sunflowers, mostly is small seeds, kernel is full enrichment, and thin hull, high kernel rate about 65% to 75%; kernel contains generally 45% to 60% oil. The peel of sunflower is mostly black or gray stripes, and is suitable for pressing. Sunflower seeds oil is a kind of senior quality edible oil, known as “nutrition”, contains unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E which is easily absorbed by the body; sunflower seeds oil includs up to 70% linoleic acid, which can reduce the body's cholesterol. Sunflower oil can be used for making margarine, mayonnaise, and salad oil.
5. Peanut. Peanut is native to South American. Peanut kernel contains 45%-50% oil, 25%-31% protein. Peanut is the important source of edible oil and protein resource. Peanut oil is composed of 20% saturated fatty acid and 80% unsaturated fatty acid, main contains Oleic acid, linoleic acid, palmitic acid, it’s iodine value is about 80-110.
6. Sesame. Sesame contains 45-63% oil, and 19%-31% protein, known as “Oil queen”. Sesame oil is one of the oldest edible oil in the word. Sesame oil contains 35% - 49.4%oleic acid, 37.7% - 48.4% linoleic acid, and 4% - 12% arachidic acid. Use water extraction process method to get flavor sesame oil with more features in China
7. Tea-seeds. Tea-seed is native to China, and now grown in India, Vietnam, Indonesia and other countries. Tea-seed contains 30% oil, and 8%-9% protein. Tea oil has a high nutritional value and health care effect, known as the "Oriental olive oil”.
8. Rice bran. Rice bran contains 14%-24% oil. Rice bran is a by-product of rice processing. Rice bran oil is contains 40-52% oleic acid, 29-42% linoleic acid, 0.5-1.8% linolenic acid, 12-18% palmitic acid, 1.0-3.0% stearate, 4.5-6.5% phytosterols, and 0.1-0.5% oryzanol. Rice bran oil was known as a “nutritional oils”, with reduce serum cholesterol effect significantly.
9. Corn germ. Corn germ oil is extracted from corn germ. Corn germ oil is riched in essential vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids for human body, such as linoleic acid and oleic acid, has a protective effect on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular. Corn germ oil contains up to 80%-85% unsaturated fatty acid.
10. Palm kernel. Palm kernel oil from the kernel of the palm fruit. Palm kernel oil contains a large amount of lower fatty acid. Palm oil was known as “the king oil in the world”. Palm kernel oil contains more than 80% unsaturated fatty acids. Liquid palm oil is a kind of nice frying oil.

How to Maintain Oil Press

Tips for maintenance of oil press machine in daily life:
1. During the usage of oil press, you should always check the outlet. If oil cake is not continuously coming out from outlet or stop keeping out, you should stop feeding and to move storage feed in inlet, so that, clear the blockage.
2. When the oil press is working, you should clean the oil residue continuously, to prevent the oil line is blocked. The oil residue can be pressed again.
3. If the oil expeller was wrong, and screw shaft was stop working, you should immediately turn off the machine. Open the discharging board, remove the screw shaft away.
4. Using lubricating grease and lubricating oil to lubricate every important parts of oil press machine regular.

Tips for maintenance of oil press machine under normal condition:
1. Check lubrication situation every 50 working hours. Reducer casing can not be short of oil. Fill butter into screw holes, no dry grinding.
2. Prevent dust and other impurities invading into every lubricating parts of oil press machine. Check the motor oil quality of reducer casing every year, if you found the change, you should replace all of the motor oil.
3. When the pressing capacity is reduced, and the oil cake or oil is not normal, you should take away screw shaft, check the wear condition of pressing worm, cage bar, and outlet devices, and then replace the wearing parts in time.
4. After working every time, you should clean the oil cake inside oil press machine and dust and oil dirt in the machine surface. Overhaul the whole oil expeller every six months. When maintenance, the oil press equipment must be disassembled, if damaged, need to repair or replace.
5. After production season,oil press machine is stored for a long time; you should do maintenance for it. And paint motor oil to pressing shaft, cage bar, and outlet devices, and then, put them in dry place.
